J Balvin Joins Coca-Cola’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Song
Colombian singer J Balvin is part of Coca-Cola’s official song for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The new song is a new version of Van Halen’s “Jump.” The song also features drummer Travis Barker, singer Amber Mark, and guitarist Steve Vai.
Balvin said sports can bring a whole country together, and that feeling is part of Colombia. But he also said Van Halen’s “'Jump' is not a fútbol song,” and it is a “soccer” song because the original song has no Spanish words. Coca-Cola asked him last year to join the project. Balvin said he was careful because the original song is famous.
In the song Mark sings the English words first. Vai and Barker add new sounds. Balvin wrote new Spanish words with producer L.E.X.V.Z, with a style he calls Brazilian funk mixed with hip-hop. He raps that football is “our language.” Balvin hopes people feel it as a “football” song.
